Passion Fruit

Passiflora edulis is well known in Guyana, where it is known as passion fruit or passionfruit (English). Native to South America it is also known as maracuya (Spanish), grenadille or fruit de la passion  (French) and maracujá (Portuguese) by our neighbors.

The vine has a lifespan of five to seven years.
